The Power of Portraits

BACK

Portraits tell stories about the human experience. Explore portraits ranging from abstraction to realism.

Art is an opportunity to recognise our common humanity and vulnerability. It is the experience of fumbling and having fumbled countless times before rising. It is in this intermittence where strong individualism exists, accompanied by a great psychological journey and exceptional mental strength that artists create. A notion common to all, though unique to us, perspectives in which we can all relate to through human experience.

In this exhibition, we want to express the Power of Portraiture’s exemplary moments. Through the exertion of emotion from artist to canvas, by infinite mediums, it is a different kind of story-telling that words cannot justify.
